What is Stasher?
Stasher is a luggage storage service available in thousands of locations worldwide. You can use their website or app to find and book places near you to store your luggage, on-demand.
It’s a convenient way to keep your bags somewhere safe temporarily such as a shop or a hotel while you go explore the city.
We’ve used luggage store services like Stasher and Bounce at times when we’ve checked out of our accommodations but our flight wasn’t until later that night. It’s a safe and affordable way to ditch your bags temporarily.
Stasher Locations
A luggage storage spot in Stasher is called a StashPoint.
There’s thousands of StashPoints available in more than 400 cities across several continents. Check their site to see if they’re available in your location.
StashPoints include shops, hotels, restaurants, and other types of commercial businesses.
Stasher Pricing
Stasher’s pricing is simple. Depending on your location, Stasher currently charges £6, €5, or $5 per day per bag. Different cities have different pricing so check the locations on their site to see the exact price.
Stasher also charges a £1.65 per-bag booking fee which helps them provide 24/7 customer support and up to £1000 insurance.
For example, let’s say you want to store 1 bag in London for 1 day (dropoff and pickup same day), and let’s say the spot charges £4.95 per bag per day. The total would be £6.60:
1 bag × 1 day = £4.95
Booking fee = £1.65
£4.95 + £1.65 = £6.60 total
You have to pay and book online. If your plans change, Stasher offers a refund as long as you cancel before your scheduled drop-off time.
How Stasher Works
1.) Go to the Stasher website and enter your location, date(s) and times you need to store your luggage, and how many bags you need to store. Their website works well on desktop and mobile.
2.) Browse through their map of available luggage storage spots near you and click on a spot to see details such as the price and business hours.
3.) After choosing a spot, click the Book button and go through the steps to create an account, checkout and pay. You’ll get a confirmation email with drop-off instructions and the exact address.
4.) When it’s time to drop-off your luggage, head to the StashPoint, show them your booking confirmation email on your phone and your picture ID.
5.) The host will tag your luggage with a unique number and give you a matching tag which you’ll need to present to the staff when you pick up your bags again later.
Stasher Reviews
Stasher’s website homepage says 4.8/5.0 from 21122 verified reviews which is from their own internal ratings system.
We did our own research online and calculated that Stasher has a 4.23 average rating out of 339 ratings we were able to find online, outside of the Stasher website:
4.5 stars out of 24 reviews on Tripadvisor
4.3 stars out of 269 ratings on Trustpilot
3.3 stars out of 7 ratings on the Apple App Store
4.8 stars out of 39 ratings on Facebook
Our personal rating: we would give Stasher 4 stars because their iPhone app kept freezing and they didn’t have many spots to choose from in our location compared to the Bounce app, but you may have a better experience than we did.
We recommend using Stasher’s website on desktop or mobile instead of downloading their iPhone app at this time, until they fix the freezing issues. We haven’t tried their Android app.

Stasher Cons
Reliability - Business info may not be reliable so try and call the business beforehand to confirm their hours and if they have space available

Is Stasher Worth It?
